A UN report on terrorism warns Kerala and Karnataka may contain ‘considerable numbers’ of ISIS militants and also noted that al-Qaeda terrorist organization in the Indian subcontinent is plotting ISIS terrorist attacks in the area to take revenge of his former Guru’s death. The organization is believed to have 150 to 200 terrorists from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar.

UN Report On Terrorism confirms significant numbers of ISIS operatives in Kerala and Karnataka States
According to the UN Report on Terrorism, “A member nation has reported that ISIL’s Indian affiliate (Hind Vilayyah) has between 180 and 200 members, announced on May 10, 2019. It states that ISIL within the states of Kerala and Karnataka there’s a big number of members. ”
