Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: The Center has accepted the recommendation of Bihar CBI investigation in the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The Central Government informed about it on Wednesday to the Supreme Court. A bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy said that the truth behind the death of the actor should be revealed. Advocate General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Center, told the court that the Bihar government’s recommendation for CBI investigation has been accepted.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s father had lodged an FIR in Patna against Bollywood actress Riya Chakraborty, complaining of inciting his son Sushant Singh Rajput suicide. In fact, the petition of actress Riya Chakraborty to transfer the case filed in Patna to Mumbai was heard in the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

A bench of Justice Hrishikesh Roy has asked all the parties to respond within three days on the demand for transfer of the case. After one week, the case will be heard again. The body of Rajput (34) was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra, a Mumbai suburb on 14 June 2020.

Mumbai Police Did Not Give A Good Message

During the hearing, the court said that the truth should be revealed in the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput death. The Supreme Court said – Despite the fact that the Mumbai Police has a good professional reputation, a good message has not been sent to the Bihar Police Officer by quoting him. The Maharashtra government, in favor, told the Supreme Court that filing an FIR and investigation in this case does not come under the jurisdiction of Bihar Police. It has been made a political case. At the same time, Sushant’s father said- “Maharashtra Police is destroying the evidence”.

After the news of a CBI investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey from ANI said that BMC will now take out Patna City SP Vinay Tiwari from quarantine. What Mumbai Police has done is not a professional behavior. Our officer was kept as if he was a criminal. He said that Riya Chakraborty has not been contacted. He is still absconding. She is not coming forward. We do not even know if he is in touch with the Mumbai Police or not.

Sushant Singh Rajput News Update : LJP Said – Better Late Than Never

A few hours after the Bihar government recommended a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, LJP said on Tuesday that it was better to come late. It is noteworthy that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said in a statement that the state government has decided to recommend a CBI inquiry into the case on the request of the father of the late actor. To this, LJP tweeted on its Twitter handle with the hashtag “CBI for Sushant”, “Better late than Never”.
